Hi ! And welcome to my corner of the garden! My name is Becki, a momma, a Mimi, and a lover of the garden! The garden has become a place of healing, my teacher, a friend and companion through each and every season of my life’s journey, because the garden is about connection and relationship. These are two things that God created and designed us for! If you just sit with her for a while and get your hands and feet in her rich soil, she will teach you and bless you with more than just her beauty!

The seed: My seed was planted as a child while living on a farm and spending time in the garden harvesting with my grandmother’s. One grandma focused more on growing veggies and harvesting for meals, while the other seemed to grow baskets full of strawberries and rows of rhubarb which she filled with her homemade pies! Little did she know, nature’s strawberry sweetness and the rhubarb, a nutrient dense low calorie vegetable, was full of medicinal benefits and I am sure she had no idea of how many things that rhubarb does for the body!

Over the past ten years, growing food organically and sharing that love at farmers markets, I realized that I needed and wanted more. Disease’s in my family were not getting better through just food and lifestyle choices alone. After my dad died at 63 of Lewy-body dementia and my mother at 79 from vascular dementia and heart conditions, I knew I needed to find a better way to healing. The “wanting more seed” broke through the soil one winter while being snowed in and my mom had to come stay with me. She had forgotten her meds and by day 3, I noticed her blood pressure was creeping to 180 and we needed to do something quick! So I gathered my study books and decided to put some herbs together for a blood pressure tea, and also an essential oil brain blend that you “smell and apply” for BP too. In one hour with just 1 cup of tea and a little deep breathing while inhaling the oil blend, her BP dropped 40 points! No meds - just natural plants and herbs! So that began my journey of medicinal teas, tinctures and essential oil blends. I didn’t just want to help my mom fight this awful brain disease and improve her heart condition, it quickly became my desire to help more people in my life and in my community too.

“It is the smallest of all seeds, but it becomes the largest of garden plants, it grows into a tree and the birds come and make nest and rest in its branches.” Matthew 13:32

From Seed to Tree: To this day, I am still amazed and wowed of what’s all contained in a seed! To plant something so tiny that grows into a harvest of abundance AND also provides seeds for years to come reveals something magical about the power of plants! Just as our whole plant world is connected and works together in wholeness, God’s design for us is wholeness too, in our mind, body, spirit, and soul! It’s all connected! Our minds may go through trauma, but that trauma also affects our body and spirit. Sickness and disease can even come from our thoughts! Just as plants can respond to our thoughts and intentions ( Yes, they can ) our bodies respond to our thoughts as well! Ask yourself, what are you speaking and thinking over yourself, and over every single cell in your body? This question is very important because it changes everything. This is where my roots started going deep, and where that tiny powerful seed grew into Seed to Wholeness. This is a place that you can find simple, natural organic products, that are designed to help you heal holistically! From the forest floor to the blossoming flower, we love to harness the power of natures gifts to us to create products the body needs and is designed to respond to on a cellular LEVEL to heal itself.
